With its three-story vaulted ceilings, the modern farmhouse Reception Barn at Addison Woods is is fully ship lapped from floor to ceiling. The neutral decor is illuminated by five wrought iron chandeliers and swinging doors that overlook the lush venue grounds. At 6,000 square feet, the barn can fit up to 220 guests for dining and entertainment. Echoing Texas' proud agrarian heritage, its homestead aesthetic captures the charm of a time past, yet is thoroughly modernized for executing flawless events. Special features include a hidden caterer's prop kitchen, a private vendor entrance, ambient lighting and all-season temperature control boasting comfort for all.
Many couples opt to enjoy post-ceremony cocktail hour on our outdoor terrace, an ideal place for savoring sunsets and socializing. Complete with a Texas sized porch swing, an outdoor bar, and overhead fans, the 1200 sq. ft. Veranda is the perfect setting for cocktail hour or al fresco dining.
The Bridal Suite is a grand two story suite that allows the bridal party to relax and pamper themselves. Designed for the bridesmaids to get ready in before the ceremony, the expansive space includes four signature areas - the vanity room, the indoor lounge, the private patio lounge, and the upstairs dressing room. Downstairs features include six hair and make-up vanities, a sitting area with plush sofas and coffee bar.
This manicured turf lawn is available for pre-function drinks and stand-up cocktail style receptions. Guests can enjoy sunset games under bistro lighting or opt to sit by the fire pit in our cozy outdoor lounge area. Should you choose, the cocktail lawn can also double as a ceremony site. In addition, the cocktail lawn can serve as a fully outdoor reception space to take advantage of beautiful Texas weather during the Spring and Fall months.
While our fully stocked catch and release fishing pond and pier is the perfect place for your groomsmen to kick back before the festivities, it's also a great setting for photos with your loved one on the water. The pier can also be reserved for intimate ceremonies.
Our chapel is flooded with natural light to create the perfect year-round venue for your wedding ceremony in the heart of The Woodlands. Laura May Chapel is climate controlled and can serve as primary or backup ceremony space for your Houston, Texas wedding. The interior of the chapel is designed to be your blank canvas with bright white walls, ship lapped ceilings, and clean lines. With a capacity of up to 200, it features custom built-in pews, a ceremony altar, and private bridal and groom waiting rooms.
Perfectly situated to behold spectacular sunsets, our Oaks Ceremony Lawn is the natural, plain-air centerpiece of Addison Woods. The beautifully manicured lawn is nestled under historic live oaks and is a beautiful setting for your wedding ceremony in Houston, Texas.
Bridal Suite (2nd Floor)
The upstairs dressing room features four individual dressing stations with full length mirrors, a glam sofa for the perfect pictures, and a reveal mirror to capture your signature bridal shot.
Set aside in a private cabin, our grooms and their groomsmen can prep and relax before the festivities begin. This 1300 square foot cabin was designed as the ultimate man cave! Enjoy a spacious dressing room, dapper leather furniture, a poker table, pool table, as well as multiple tv's equipped with YouTube TV and all the sports channels you can dream of. It is strategically situated on the opposite side of the property from the Reception Barn (and bridal suite) to ensure both the bride and groom’s privacy before the big reveal.
Who doesn't love a good round golf or the opportunity to work on your putting game? The putting green is just one of the many amenities located next to the groom's cabin to keep the groom and his groomsmen entertained before it's time to start getting ready for the ceremony.
