Your Wedding Timeline

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

When it comes to your wedding day, timing is everything. To ensure your big day runs smoothly, it’s important to create a detailed wedding day timeline—doing so will help you stay organized, stress-free, and on time (because even running a few minutes late can throw the whole day off-track). Once you have drafted your wedding day timeline, be sure to share it with your wedding-party members, wedding coordinator or planner, your photographer, DJ/band, caterer, florist, venue, and other vendors so everyone’s on the same page.

Addison Woods has created a sample timeline for you to use as a guide to create your own, unique, wedding day timeline. Please note that this wedding timeline is made under the assumption that you are booking at Addison Woods and that both your ceremony and reception are held on-site at our wedding venue in The Woodlands, just north of Houston. This sample does not take into consideration travel time that your guests may need should you choose to hold your ceremony at an off-site location.
